Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP)

ValuTrac Software offers UCDP direct delivery in EVERY ValuTrac platform.

Please find below information on how to setup your Direct Integration (DI) User Credentials:

To submit appraisal data files to the Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP) using a vendor solution, your organization must first set up a UCDP Direct Integration User ID. The UCDP Direct Integration User ID provides you access to submit appraisals to assigned business units and any subordinate business units within your organization.

The UCDP Administrator completing the UCDP Direct Integration User ID Request Form must be the same UCDP Administrator on record with Veros Real Estate Solutions (Veros) for the business unit requested and any subordinate units.

Direct Integration Users are only required to complete the form once from either GSE’s website

*Please note the UCDP Direct Integration User ID is different from the UCDP User ID received in the email from ucdp-noreply@veros.com, as part of the lender administration registration process.

Uniform Mortgage Data Program (UMDP)

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have jointly established the Uniform Mortgage Data Program (UMDP), under the direction of our regulator, the Federal Housing Finance Agency, to provide common requirements for appraisal and loan delivery data.

The UMDP implements two of Fannie Mae's Loan Quality Initiative (LQI) objectives – electronic submission of appraisal data and collection of additional loan data in an updated format – through a uniform approach that facilitates lender adoption by having uniform datasets and file formats. Fannie Mae's participation in the UMDP is under our LQI umbrella, while additional LQI activities are Fannie Mae-specific.

The UMDP includes:

  • A Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) that standardizes key appraisal data elements to enhance data quality and promote consistency.
  • A Uniform Collateral Data Portal (UCDP) for the electronic collection of appraisal data to minimize impact on lenders.

UMDP Implementation Dates

  • September 1, 2011 (appraisal effective date): Appraisals must comply with the UAD data standardization requirements
  • December 1, 2011 (loan application date): Lenders must deliver full UAD-compliant electronic appraisal report data (if appraisal required) and expanded loan delivery data
  • March 19, 2012 (loan delivery date): Lenders must deliver full UAD-compliant electronic appraisal report data (if appraisal required), and loan delivery data must be provided in industry-standard ULDD format (unless manually entered in Loan Delivery)

For additional information on the UMDP, visit the UMDP resource page at efanniemae.com.

Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) - NOW IN EFFECT

For appraisals with an effective date (date of inspection) on or after September 1, 2011, the appraisal report must be completed in compliance with the Uniform Appraisal Dataset (UAD) for conventional mortgage loans sold to Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac.

To learn more about UAD and implementing it across your business, visit the UAD resource page at efanniemae.com.
